Philip is the Director of childpsych. He has extensive experience with children as a teacher, school psychologist and child psychologist. Philip has advanced training in clinical psychology and education. His particular expertise is with the treatment of anxiety and mood disorders in children and adolescents, assessment of learning and developmental problems and the management of behaviour problems. He has conducted research on the nature of anxiety and personality in children and published research about children who refuse to attend school because of anxiety. Philip has a particular passion about the involvement of parents as co-therapists in treating their child's problems, which is reflected in the practice's core value of interdependence.
Jean McCausland-Green

Jean has worked as a psychologist in the fields of child and adult mental health. Jean has worked in the United Kingdom and Australia. Jean began her psychology training in Victoria at LaTrobe University before moving to Brisbane to complete her advanced training in clinical psychology at the University of Queensland. She has held various roles as a Research Assistant, an Early Intervention Psychologist with young children and families as well as Clinical Psychologist with Queensland Health. She has supervised junior psychologists and has a particular interest in the treatment of social anxiety/shyness, obsessive compulsive disorder and the behavioural problems of children under the age of 10. Jean has published research on the effects of health problems and psychological functioning.
Annemari de Korte MAPS

Annemari began and completed her training in psychology in South Africa. Annemari has extensive experience as a psychologist with children. She is an accredited supervisor for probationary psychologists in Queensland and has supervised psychologists-in-training over the years. Annemari’s particular expertise is working with children and adolescents who have experienced grief and loss, are suffering from depression and anxiety and with the behavioural problems of young children. Annemari is also an accredited Triple P Level 5 provider (parent training). Annemari has completed research on emotional intelligence and has particular interests in childhood obesity and parent-child interaction therapy (strengthening parent-child relationships in difficult to manage children).
Maya Griffiths MAPS

Maya is a clinical psychologist who has extensive experience helping children diagnosed with an autistic spectrum disorder. She has worked in residential and community mental health settings in Canada and Australia. Maya has worked in both the private and government mental health sectors focussing on child and adolescent psychology. In addition to working with children who have autism, Maya is skilled in working with behavioural and anxiety problems of childhood. Maya has published research on children’s experience and understanding of grief and loss and is currently completing a PhD in the area of family functioning within the context of cancer.

Jo comes from the United Kingdom where she worked in various administrative and secretarial roles. Jo has over 15 years experience working as a Personal Assistant and providing clerical and reception support in legal, retail and counselling environments. Jo provides reception and administrative support for childpsych.
